Gone when technology was only part of our imagination or available for the secret societies but thrusted in our face with The TRANSFORMERS. Vehicles that could change from vehicle to robot and back

The difference here was that it was not humans manipulating these vehicles but the fear society had at the time if technology would get out of control and take over society.

Transformers occured as a toy line and cartoon/comic series depicting the battle between Autobots and Decepticons within our world, Planet Earth. Transformers was a very successful franchise where it spawned countless characters, cartoon/comic series and even blockbuster movies that has made this a money printing machine.
