This range was part of the last space theme alongside Blacktron to be part of the LEGOLAND system. There were 8 standard sets and as a bonus you could grab a set of instructions and combine 3 sets into a super model (Secret Space Voyager). M:Tron space theme lasted from 1990 until it was phased out in 1993.

 

The beauty of these sets focused more on vehicles incorporating magnets to increase play value.

 

M:Tron sets are now highly sought after and finding a set with a box is a rare find.
